Ashley Drewery

Director, Children's and Youth Ministries

Ashley Drewery is married to her college sweetheart, Will Drewery. They live in San Jose. Ashley grew up in Falls Church, Virginia, just outside of Washington D.C. She moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for college, earning a B.S. in Political Science and Hispanic Studies from Carnegie Mellon University. After bouncing between a few east coast cities, Ashley and Will moved to northern California in 2012.

Ashley is an experienced customer success manager, who brings with her a strong foundation in operations, analytics, insights and support. Ashley began her career in management consulting with the Department of Defense and the Department of the Army. There, she worked on better delivering benefits to wounded, ill, and injured service members and their families. In 2011, she transitioned out of the federal market and began helping to manage software testing for Banco Santander. Upon arriving in the Silicon Valley in 2012, Ashley knew she wanted to broaden her horizons and try something new. She joined Streetline, a Foster City based start-up that provides smart parking solutions to cities, universities, and corporate campuses. There, she led the company’s Client Services Team, which partnered with customers to ensure their goals were met and that they obtained the highest value from Streetline’s technology.

Ashley and her husband began serving in children’s and youth ministries a few months after arriving in the Bay Area. They discerned the Lord’s affirmation of this direction one afternoon in Sausalito when they encountered a nineteen-year-old stranger. The following Sunday, they signed up to serve and haven’t looked back since! Ashley is passionate about creating a lasting impact on our children and raising up the next generation to share the love and truth of Jesus. She is honored to be a part of New Beginnings and all that God is doing to reach those far from God.

Ashley enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, practicing yoga, exploring new bike trails and painting.
