Eddie Kim served bi-vocationally for over 15 years as a deacon, worship director, and college ministry director at a local church plant prior to attending NBCC. In 2004, after a taking a step of faith to serve abroad for a year with his family on mission to Central Asia, he committed to full-time ministry. Then his son was diagnosed with autism. Nevertheless, God redeemed and repurposed life’s disappointments and hardships into invaluable faith lessons.
In 2010, God called Eddie to co-lead a ministry to special needs families at his former church. He also served on the marriage and family ministry team, led a men’s growth group, and participated in worship arts. Eddie’s desire is to walk alongside believers in the Lord, mentoring them into Godly leaders for their homes, work, and witness.
Professionally, Eddie works for the City of San Jose IT Department, managing network engineers and information security teams. He is married to his wife Diane and they live in Saratoga with their two young sons, Jeremy and Justin.
