Henry Sun was born in Southeast Asia and grew up in Southern California. He graduated with a B.S. in mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is now working for a bio-medical company, overseeing the Program Management Office focusing on global expansion.
Saved by grace through a message he listened to on his Sony “Walkman” during a tumultuous teenage year, Henry believes that “God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” (Rom. 8:28). Through Jesus Christ, he believes that no matter our past, God’s love for us is absolute, redemptive and unconditional. He served as a youth ministry leader at a Presbyterian church throughout his college years, became an associate lay minister at a local charismatic congregation and was a Secretary of the Board in a previous church for over ten years.
Henry enjoys photography and sees it as a “divine opportunity” and uses his passion for ministry when the opportunity allows. He currently resides in Santa Clara, CA, with his beautiful teenage daughter, Keshia. They enjoy traveling camping, biking and laughing-out-loud together.
