Kristin has over fifteen years of experience across marketing communications, digital marketing, and audience acquisition. She has worked client-side, agency-side, and with major brands, such as Sun Microsystems (now Oracle), Edison International, and the Boy Scouts of America.
Kristin has designed and driven global audience acquisition strategy for large-scale (5,000 to 10,000-person), high-profile technology conferences during her tenure at worldwide experience marketing agency, George P. Johnson. In addition, she has marketed events connected with the Austin American Statesman, SXSW, C-SPAN, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the New England Aquarium, ABC’s 20/20, and more. Kristin has a certificate in Advanced Mobile Marketing from the University of San Francisco and is experienced in delivering market research and strategy for clients in the mobile and location-based application space. She is passionate about integrating social, mobile and emerging media to advocate for causes that transform the world.
Kristin has earned a BA from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s Degree, with a concentration in Theology and the Arts, from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. In addition to working in corporate, Kristin has served as Director of Communications of Park Street Church, a 2,000-person 200+ year-old historic church on the Freedom Trail (50,000 trail visitors annually) in the heart of Boston. She co-founded the church’s arts ministry which includes visual artists, writers, dancers, dramatists, photographers, and other creatives.
From its launch as a large Silicon Valley start-up church to now, Kristin has been thrilled to establish a thriving Communications and Marketing Department at New Beginnings Community Church (NBCC) from the ground up. Kristin is grateful to serve at NBCC.
