Traditionally most churches have defined their congregation by membership.
The conviction of NBCC is that all who have professed faith in Jesus Christ are members of the universal Body of Christ. At NBCC, partnership is the vehicle for a member of Christ’s Body to identifiably commit to the vision and values of NBCC. In essence, we are using the term partnership because we believe that Christian ministry is a partnership in the Gospel.
We believe in collaborative ministry.
We are called to serve God together as one local Body, and every person is essential. We believe that every person in the congregation is called and empowered to serve God.
PARTNERSHIP CLASS INFORMATION
If you are committed to the vision and values of NBCC and want to become a Partner in our ministry, then we’d love for you to join us at our next Partnership Class!
The partnership process is as follows:
At the class, you’ll learn more about NBCC and what it means to be a Partner. You’ll have an opportunity to sign a partnership commitment, which indicates a willingness to support the ministry of NBCC in the following ways:
Volunteer, so that you can make a difference in the lives of others at NBCC.
Pray regularly for our church and our leadership.
Give generously and joyfully (as you are able), in order to support the ministry of NBCC.
As you have opportunity, invite those you know to experience NBCC so their lives can be changed by God’s amazing love!
You may also want to review the NBCC Bylaws. Please note that the Bylaws are a starting charter, and will likely undergo amendments over the next 6 months. We are a new church, and our church governance will be a matter of ongoing prayer, reflection, and input from outside counselors. Thank you for your prayerful consideration of being a Partner and being a part of the amazing work that God will do through New Beginnings. We are thrilled to partner with you and to partner with God!
