December 2024

NBCC Kicks Off Capital Campaign!

  • NBCC kicks off their first capital campaign to raise $7M to grow the ministry.
  • Formal donation agreement was signed.

January 2025

San Jose 2nd-Floor Access Talks:

  • Began initial conversations with San Jose building officials to identify options to expand second floor accessibility.

February 2025

Sequoia Campus Acquisition Official:

  • Acquisition of our new campus at Sequoia is official! Transfer of assets are signed and recorded.
  • Formal closing and transfer of property and asset ownership on February 10, 2025.

March 2025

Momentum in Motion:

  • Two former Sequoia Board Members, Brad Jung and Dennis Logie, formally installed as new NBCC Board Members.
  • Design drawings for planned renovations in Redwood City completed.
  • NBCC Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Independent Audit completed in March 2025. This is an important and necessary step for our construction loan.

April 2025

Board Greenlights Next Phase at Sequoia:

  • Our NBCC Board approves moving forward with stage demolition of the Sequoia building. 
  • The Board approves signing the contract with our general contractor, CoBuild.
  • Over $2.1M has been given toward the campaign!
  • We reach 77% of our Rejoicing & Reaching goal of 7M.

May 2025

San Jose 2nd-Floor AC Talks:

  • Additional discussions with San Jose building officials to explore more options for second floor access
  • Over 2.5M has been raised! This puts us at over 80% of our campaign goal.
