" Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
— Philippians 4:6 —
The Bible teaches that there is power in united prayer and fasting, and we invite YOU to join us on a 40-day PF40 journey leading up to Easter—a season of exploring spiritual practices, removing limitations on God, and becoming more like Jesus as we seek a deeper experience of Him.
Designate a place & time to connect with God daily and pray:
• for those in your life who may feel far from God...to experience His love, salvation, restoration, and peace
• for those we are planning to invite to NBCC's Easter Celebration on Sun, Apr 5
• a breakthrough in your life—areas of personal need
• healing for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs
Identify one thing to give up that will allow you to devote extra time to hearing from God: (Let cravings serve as a reminder to pray.)
• Certain foods (bread, sweets, solid foods, coffee, etc.).*
• A recreational practice (TV, a hobby, social media, video games, etc.).
*Please consult your physician before fasting from food. If you fast from solid foods, consider fasting for 1 meal a day.

When you commit to the PF40 challenge, you'll receive a daily devotional to inspire and support your spiritual growth. There are multiple ways to access these devotionals.

During the PF40 season, we’re inviting families with kids (through 5th grade) to seek God together. We’ve created kid-friendly 5-minute devotionals to help families pray and grow at home throughout PF40 leading up to Easter.
Printed copies will be available for all kids at our Redwood City and San Jose campuses during Sunday in-person gatherings, or you can download a digital copy below.
