Local and Global Initiatives

Serve alongside local churches, nonprofits, schools, and government partners to support poverty alleviation in the North Fair Oaks community. Volunteers help plan and host quarterly Share & Serve events and build long-term relationships that foster hope and transformation.

Roles: 

• Event Planning Volunteer – assist with logistics for quarterly Share & Serve events
• Outreach Volunteer – engage with local families, schools, and community partners
• Relationship Builder – support long-term partnerships with local nonprofits and churches
• Project Support – help with neighborhood improvement projects (clean-ups, beautification)

Partner with churches, nonprofits, schools, and government agencies to address real needs in Downtown San Jose. Volunteers assist with planning and hosting quarterly Share & Serve events and engage in relational outreach within underserved communities.

• Partner Support – collaborate with local schools, churches, and nonprofit organizations
• Project Support – assist with neighborhood initiatives and service projects

Help develop and strengthen strategic partnerships throughout the greater Bay Area. This team collaborates with churches, nonprofits, parachurch organizations, schools, and government entities to support sustainable poverty alleviation efforts.

Roles: 

• Partnership Coordinator – help identify and maintain relationships with churches, nonprofits, and schools
• Research & Planning Volunteer – support strategic planning for local initiatives
• Project Support – provide hands-on assistance for regional poverty alleviation projects

Support NBCC’s global outreach through prayer, planning, logistics, and hands-on service. Opportunities may include partnership development, outreach projects, and initiatives that bring hope and practical support to communities around the world.

Roles:

• Mission Support Volunteer – help with logistics and planning for mission teams
• Partnership Support – coordinate with global partners and missionaries
• Prayer & Communication Support – pray for and assist with communication for global initiatives
• Hands-On Service Volunteer – participate in short-term or long-term mission projects
