Be a Leaner
Sue Warnke shares her personal journey to discovering faith in God. Sue had been plowing through life, purposeless, aimless and with no sense of direction. Her mum's passing of cancer was like looking up for the first time and noticing that she had reached the edge of a cliff, feeling lost and out of options. By surrendering her life, Sue recognized that God had a plan for her and for us all, but we have to accept His plan. We have to surrender our need to be "God" in our lives and decide if we will believe Him. Sue further reminds us that we never have to carry the weight of our lives anymore. We can let go, and be awakened to what God can do in our lives! She ends the message with a C.S. Lewis quote, "There are only two kinds of people: those who say to God, "Thy will be done," and those to whom God says,"Thy will be done."
