Control!

In this installment in the “Illusions” message series, Pastor Hurmon exposes the illusion of “control.” We may not voice the belief that we have control over our lives, but we often live as if we believe that is true. To overcome this illusion, Pastor Hurmon suggests that we: acknowledge what we cannot change and watch for God to meet us in the midst of our limitations; recognize the power that we do have and yield it with integrity; focus on input and trust outcomes to God; and understand the choices and consequences before us.
