Made For This Season
In this second message in our “Made for This” series, Pastor Hurmon focuses on the biblical Story of Gideon, and the questions he was asking God during a 7-year period of suffering, before being called to his purpose. His courageous and faithful response helps also to illuminate new lessons from the life of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whom we celebrate and honor this weekend. With this message, we gain insight to the question of how our faith prepares us to respond to the presence of evil and suffering in our lives, and in the world around us, and to better recognize the call of God, creating better clarity and focus.
