Empathy Matters
In this final message in the Character Matter series, Pastor Hurmon talks about the character trait of empathy. We have a God who empathizes with us. He knows our weaknesses. Just as Jesus’ radical empathy bridged the gap between God and humanity on Good Friday, we are called to show empathy and love to our neighbors by getting to know their stories.
Prayer for Radical Empathy:
Lord open my eyes so I can see what others are seeing. Open my heart so I can feel what others are feeling.
