How Do We Serve Our Local Community?
At New Beginnings, we believe that the church plays a pivotal role in the social change already taking place in our community. We want to foster deep, intentional, systemic impact in our local community, right here in the Bay Area. We call this ministry, "Transforming Communities."
We believe that God has commissioned us to help restore the world to justice. We take our cue from the early church in Acts 2:42-47. This community of believers not only prayed and shared meals together, but they “sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need” (Acts 2:45).
Each year NBCC partners with exceptional organizations that do great work in our local communities and around the world. Learn more about our 2021 Be Rich to Others outreach.
Together we shared the love of Jesus by:
PRAYING: 32,760+ minutes of prayer across our community.
LOVING: 1,740+ hygiene kits assembled and donated to WeHOPE and Loaves & Fishes
GIVING: $96,245+ for our Be Rich partners listed below.
